Katie Hofgard

I am Katie Hofgard, a young painter and illustrator with a BFA in Illustration from The Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. My art is heavily influenced by my love for animals, especially wolves and dogs. I grew up in the rocky mountains of Colorado, playing and learning in the thick pine woods surrounding my home. I actually wanted to be a paleontologist when I grew up, but I spent so much time drawing dinosaurs instead of looking for them, that I became an artist instead. I’m currently working towards publishing my own line of products, now including bookmarks, stickers and magnets, as well publishing my own illustrated books.
